Fun-Module is a family of rectangular lamps designed specifically for the amusement industry, ideal for use on rides and attractions.
They are particularly suitable for Drop Towers and Ferris Wheels, as their shape perfectly complements and enhances the linear design of these structures.
The lamps are entirely designed and manufactured in our factory in Italy, using only premium-quality materials such as CREE LEDs, polyurethane resins and gold-plated contacts. They are suitable for bothindoor and outdoor applications.
The lamp body is made of polycarbonate, while the methacrylate lid ensures maximum transparency and excellent resistance to UV radiation. Electrical connection is achieved through standard commercial wires, and installation is fast and secure thanks to the isolation drilling technique.
Due to their structural design, Fun-Module lamps are available only in the Frontal Pull-Out version, equipped with a special lamp socket that allows quick and easy replacement.
The Fun-Module family includes four formats, distinguished by their lengths: 100 mm, 173 mm, 323 mm, and 473 mm, and operates in three modes:
- Plug & Play
- Controllable Pixel Enhanced
- Controllable SMART
Depending on the model, each lamp features between 10 and 120 LEDs, and is available with either RGB orsingle-colour LEDs.
Features
Plug&Play
Fun-Led has been a pioneer of Plug&Play technology since the early 2000s. These lamps feature integrated electronics with internal programming, allowing them to operate without an external controller — they only require an AC power supply via a standard ferromagnetic transformer.
Lamps are internally divided into sections called chipsets (each consisting of 10 LEDs), enabling dynamic and special light effects within the lamp itself.
A key feature of the Plug&Play mode is its large onboard memory capacity, which, combined with Fun-Led’s programming software, allows the creation of installations with numerous channels and impressive light choreographies — previously unimaginable for a Plug&Play system. Each lamp can be supplied with fully customized programs.
An additional feature is the built-in temperature sensor, which automatically reduces brightness when the temperature exceeds a defined threshold. This function protects the LEDs from overheating, especially during daytime use or in high-temperature environments.
All Plug&Play lamps are available with RGB or single-colour LEDs and can be optionally equipped with the Super Strobe feature.
Controllable Pixel Enhanced
Fun-Led adopts the UCS1903 protocol, based on a serial signal (SPI), to remotely control the lamps and manage the brightness and colour of each one. The lamps are not numbered, and their cascaded connection must follow a precise path based on the initial project.
Lamps are internally divided into sections called chipsets (each consisting of 10 LEDs), enabling dynamic and special light effects within the lamp itself.
The Enhanced mode ensure full compatibility with the UCS1903 protocol while adding flexibility, efficiency, and uniqueness. The same functions are integrated by default in the SMART operating mode.
Enhanced features include:
- Customizable Super Strobe, allowing control of intensity and frequency
- Thermal protection, limiting operation in high-temperature environments
- Emergency mode, which activates a programmable colour and intensity if no valid control signal is detected at startup — ensuring the attraction is never dark
Pixel Enhanced lamps can be controlled with any standard UCS1903-compatible controller, but their default parameters can be reprogrammed only with a Fun-Led controller. This operating mode requires a DC power supply and a controller board. Fun-Led offers various hardware and software solutions to manage and control its lamps effectively.
All lamps can be supplied with RGB or single-colour LEDs and equipped with the Super Strobe option.
Controllable SMART
The brand-new SMART technology is an exclusive Fun-Led innovation that allows lamps to be individually numbered and overcomes the typical limitations of Pixel lamps. In Pixel systems, if one lamp fails, all subsequent lamps in the chain stop functioning correctly. With SMART technology, however, if a lamp stops working, communication with the following lamps is maintained, ensuring that the lighting choreography continues without interruption.
This reliability is made possible by Fun-Led’s proprietary communication protocol. SMART technology is available across the entire Fun-Spot range and operates exclusively with Fun-Led controllers and software.
All SMART lamps are available with RGB or single-colour LEDs, integrate all Enhanced features, and can be equipped with the Super Strobe option.
Extra function: Super Strobe
The Super Strobe is an exclusive Fun-Led innovation, featured in lamps from 30 mm up to 100 mm in diameter across all operating modes.
It equips the lamps with high-intensity white LEDs, delivering a powerful flashing effect directly integrated within the lamp.
The flash intensity and duration can be easily set and programmed via software, allowing complete customization. This feature enhances the performance of our lamps, creating strong visual impact and spectacular light choreographies.

The base is made of polycarbonate, housing the electronic board which is resin-sealed to form a fully waterproof lighting fixture. The electrical connection system is the Frontal Pull-Out, which uses a connector inserted into a lamp socket. This system allows easy and quick lamp replacement when necessary. All contacts are made of brass, then nickel- and gold-plated to ensure excellent conductivity and protection against oxidation.


The D24 socket is the latest Fun-Led model, designed with a compact body that can feature two or four isolation drilling contacts. The socket cap pierces the wire insulation through the tightening of two screws, ensuring a safe and reliable electrical connection. Its compact design and polarized body help guarantee correct lamp orientation and secure installation.
